Terms and Conditions

By using our Service(s) and by confirming that you have read and agree to these Terms and Conditions, you acknowledge and accept the following policies.

48-Hour Cancellation & No-Show Fee Policy Applies

All prices are based on:

• Breed
• Size of your dog
• Condition of your dog's coat
• Temperament of your dog
• Time required to complete the groom

Additional charges may apply where necessary.

No-Show & Cancellation Policy

Please contact us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend your appointment.

Cancellation Fees

• More than 48 hours notice: No charge.
• Within 48 hours of your appointment: 50% of the appointment cost will be charged.
• Within 24 hours of your appointment: 100% of the appointment cost will be charged.

No-Show Policy

A client will be considered a No-Show if they have not arrived within 15 minutes of their scheduled appointment time. At that point, there is no longer sufficient time to complete the groom without affecting subsequent appointments.

Each missed appointment prevents another client from receiving a grooming service and results in lost business income. Therefore, Alex's Fur Real Dog Grooming reserves the right to charge the full appointment cost for:

• Missed appointments ("No-Shows")
• Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, unless a compelling reason is provided

No-Show fees will be invoiced to the client.

Repeated No-Shows may result in refusal of future bookings.

Breed & Size of Your Dog

All breeds vary in size, coat type, and grooming requirements. Dogs of the same breed may differ significantly in size, and pricing will reflect the individual grooming needs of each dog.

Coat Condition

Matted coats are difficult to groom and can cause excessive wear on grooming equipment, including blades and scissors. They also significantly increase grooming time.

Additional charges may apply if:

• Your dog requires a close shave due to matting.
• Extensive brushing or de-knotting is required.
• The coat is in poor condition and requires extra work.

All grooming prices are quoted from a starting price. If de-matting is required, an additional charge of $1 per minute will apply.

Temperament

If your dog displays aggressive behaviour:

• Additional handling charges may apply.
• A muzzle may be required for the safety of the dog and groomer.
• We reserve the right to refuse service if a dog is excessively aggressive or cannot be safely handled.

Staying for the Day & Late Collection

All appointments are conducted on a one-on-one basis. We aim to minimise the number of dogs in the salon at any given time to reduce stress and distractions.

If your dog needs to stay at the salon for several hours before or after their scheduled appointment, a $20 daycare fee will apply.

Additional Fees

Late Collection Fee

A fee of $50 per hour will apply for dogs collected after 4:00 PM.

Overdue Accounts

A $10 late fee will be added every 7 days to overdue accounts.

If debt collection or other recovery action is required, you will be responsible for any associated collection costs.

Concerns, Changes, or Injuries

If you have any concerns regarding your dog's groom, any requested changes, or believe an injury may have occurred while your dog was in our care, please contact us within 48 hours of the appointment.

Acceptance of Terms

By booking and attending an appointment with Alex's Fur Real Dog Grooming, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
